HOW TO ELIMINATE BEDBUGS EFFECTIVELY

There are several natural methods to eliminate bedbugs effectively. Here are some ways to get rid of them without resorting to chemicals.

1. Wash and dry on heat: Give bedding, clothing and other items a thorough wash and dry in water (at least 120°F) and high heat to exterminate both bedbugs and their eggs.

2. Dry clean or seal in plastic bags: For items that cannot be washed consider taking them to a cleaner or sealing them in a bag for a minimum of 3 months.

3. Use diatomaceous earth: This powder acts as a natural insecticide by dehydra ting and killing bedbugs. Sprinkle it around the edges of your mattress and bed frame.

4. Try essential oils: Certain essential oils such as peppermint, lavender and tea tree oil have been known to repel bedbugs. Mix them with water and spray the solution, around your bed.

5. Use a steam cleaner: You can either rent a steam cleaner or hire a service to exterminate bedbugs and their eggs using steam.

6. Seal cracks and crevices: Apply caulk or putty to seal any cracks and crevices, around your bed and walls to prevent bedbugs from finding hiding spots.

7. Use a mattress cover: Protect your mattress with a bedbug proof cover to trap and eliminate bedbugs effectively.

8. Baking soda is a helpful tool: like mentioned earlier it can dry out and eliminate bedbugs. Dust it along the borders of your mattress and bed frame.

Keep in mind that approaches might require more time to show results compared to solutions so stay patient and determined. Acting swiftly is crucial, to stop the spread of an infestation too.
