Chairman of the EFCC ordered inquiry into Bobrisky's ₦15 million bribery allegations.
Ola Olukoyede, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has directed an investigation into bribery allegations involving Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky.
The accusations, which emerged from a video shared by Martins Vincent Otse (also referred to as VeryDarkMan), suggest that certain EFCC officials accepted ₦15 million to dismiss money laundering charges against Okuneye, who has a criminal record.
In response to these claims, Olukoyede has assigned a team of investigators to look into the matter. The EFCC has requested both Okuneye and Otse to come forward at its Lagos Directorate to aid in the investigation.
The EFCC assures the public that the inquiry will be conducted and the results will be disclosed. The Commission remains committed to upholding its principles of integrity, bravery, professionalism and collaboration.
