POWER STRUGGLE IN LABOUR

Seemingly worn out by the ongoing power struggle within the Labour Party (LP) between the faction led by Julius Abure and his own, Lamidi Apapa, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the LP, has dissolved his faction and acknowledged Abure as the party's national chairman.

Apapa's faction announced that both factions have united to address issues with the party's 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
