TINUBU DIRECTS RETURN OF SEIZED GOODS

President Bola Tinubu has instructed the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to return seized food items at border communities to their rightful owners, stipulating that these goods must be sold in Nigerian markets.

Customs Chief Adewale Adeniyi disclosed this during a meeting in Katsina, emphasizing that Tinubu's decision stemmed from his generosity towards Nigeria, rather than legal guidelines.

Adeniyi reiterated Tinubu's directive, stating that the NCS will monitor compliance closely and ensure the returned items are reintroduced into Nigerian markets.
