Governor Yahaya Bello dissolved his cabinet, appointing caretaker chairmen for the 21 local government councils.
Additionally, he removed the paramount ruler of Koton Karfe and two other first-class chiefs, replacing them with the Ohinoyi of Ebira land and the Maigari of Lokoja.
