The Federal Government of Nigeria has prohibited 18 foreign universities, labeling them as "degree mills" and urging Nigerians to avoid enrollment.
This directive impacts institutions from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ghana, as they lacked government licensing and have been officially closed down.
The list includes various campuses of universities like the University of Applied Sciences & Management, Volta University College, International University, Collumbus University, Tiu International University, Pebbles University, London External Studies, Pilgrims University, West African Christian University, EC-Council University, Concept College/Universities, Houdegbe North American University, Irish University Business School London, University of Education Winneba, Cape Coast University, African University Cooperative Development, Pacific Western University, and Evangel University of America & Chudick Management Academic.
