ABIA ECONOMIC ADVISORY COUNCIL

Yesterday marked a momentous occasion as I joyfully unveil the Abia Global Economic Advisory Council (AGEAC). This esteemed council, composed of distinguished individuals across various fields, has graciously agreed to lend their expertise to guide our administration on economic matters.

AGEAC plays a pivotal role in our strategic initiative to rejuvenate Abia State economically. Our aim is to rebuild and position our state as a hub for innovation and economic growth, both regionally and globally. Leveraging our abundant resources, entrepreneurial spirit, and strategic location is key to our plan.

The council will provide valuable insights and recommendations on fostering innovation, attracting investments, building robust partnerships, and fortifying our state's economic resilience amidst global shifts.

It's an honor to introduce the esteemed members of AGEAC, including Ms. Arunma Oteh, OON, H.R.H Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi II, CON, and Mr. Bolaji Balogun as Co-Chairs, along with other distinguished members and honorary advisors.

Additionally, the AGEAC will feature five members from the State Executive Council, including myself as Governor, and will be overseen by the capable hands of Mr. Chinenye Mba-Uzoukwu and Mr. Charles Egonye at the Secretariat.

I express profound gratitude to all AGEAC members for embracing this crucial responsibility. Special appreciation to General Ike Nwachukwu and Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu for their invaluable contributions. I eagerly anticipate fruitful collaboration with each member as we work towards our vision of a thriving Abia State.

May God bless Abia State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
