REFINERY'S FUEL PRODUCTION DELAY

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery plans to commence diesel and aviation fuel production in January 2024.

However, the production of petrol is facing delays due to crude oil supply arriving in installments.

Last week, the refinery received one million barrels, and the remaining five million barrels will be delivered in five installments to meet the facility's six million barrels requirement for full production.

The initial one million barrels will enable the production of diesel and aviation fuel, with petrol and other refined products expected as additional crude cargoes are received.
