GADA BILL SIGNED

Governor Alex Otti joyfully announced the signing of the Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA) Bill into law, marking his first legislative action since assuming office as Abia State Governor.

"This underscores our dedication to transforming Aba into a modern, thriving city. GADA, a specialized agency, will oversee Aba's development as a key economic center in Abia and the entire South East Nigeria.

Aba's rich economic diversity, encompassing trade, manufacturing, and SMEs, will receive essential infrastructural, environmental, and social support to foster growth and attract investments.

I extend gratitude to Speaker Rt. Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa, Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon Austin Meregini, and the State House of Assembly for swiftly passing the bill.

Special thanks to Attorney General Barr. Ikechukwu Uwanna, SSG Prof. Kenneth Kalu, GADA DG Mr. Uche Ukeje, SSA on legislative matters Hon. Lukeman Ukara, and all Commissioners and aides for their dedicated efforts.

May God bless Abia State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria," He said.
