The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, urged the National Assembly to approve the N17bn designated for the FCT Administration in the 2024 budget.
Wike highlighted allocations for various projects, including the Greater Abuja Water Supply project, Nigeria Cultural Centre, Millennium Tower, federal secretariat rehabilitation, and Vice President's residence completion.
He emphasized the need for support in passing the budget, citing a N15.5bn appropriation for infrastructural development in the 2023 budget, of which only N8bn was released.
