Passengers are now prohibited from using 'Ghana Must Go' sacks at all Nigerian airports, specifically the international ones, according to a circular from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The ban, aimed at preventing airline losses and damage to conveyor belt systems, requires travelers opting for these sacks to have them well-packaged in cartons or rectangular hardcovers.
The use of 'Ghana Must Go' bags has been linked to the breakdown of conveyor belt systems in several airports, imposing substantial costs on the airport authority.
