Senators and Representatives are set to receive N104.7 billion as Christmas bonuses, sanctioned by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.
The funds were discreetly added to the 2023 Supplementary budget, with Senators getting N300 million each and House of Representatives members receiving N200 million each.
The Senate President cautioned against media leaks during the inclusion of the N104.7 billion in the supplementary budget.
