Aliko Dangote has been endeavoring to secure a meeting with Bola Tinubu to discuss the alleged siphoning of $3.4 billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria, as stated in the Jim Obazee committee report. Despite a brief meeting at the Villa, it did not bring about any resolution.
Dangote's attempts at engagement, including pursuing Tinubu at a mosque, have not been successful.
Insiders have suggested that unless the funds are returned, Dangote might face prosecution.
Furthermore, members indicted in the report for financial crimes have allegedly threatened the committee."
