The Special Investigator, Jim Osayande Obazee, and his committee reportedly uncovered $275 million in a new generation bank account linked to the six-year-old son of former Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Sabiu Yusuf (a.k.a Tunde).
Additionally, an alleged N1.5 trillion was traced to Yusuf, a prominent figure in the previous Buhari administration.
There are claims that negotiations, involving influential individuals, are underway to discreetly refund the funds as the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, expressed concerns about inheriting a financially depleted country from the former government.
