Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has instructed Simon Ekpa to stop calling for any sit-at-home actions in the South-East.
The message was delivered by Kanu's Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, in a video released on July 25 in Enugu State.
In the video, Ejimakor read a letter from Kanu, directing Ekpa to cease all sit-at-home enforcement in the region, including the Monday sit-at-home and any other proposed ones, and to stop violence against the Ndigbo.
The announcement was a direct order personally issued by Kanu to Ekpa on July 24, 2023.
