IPC Justice, represented by @ipcjustice on Twitter, expressed their discontent with the Directorate of State Services (DSS) for filing a court case against Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), without providing sufficient details about the charges. In their statement, IPC Justice highlighted the demand of the Nigerian people and the public for transparency regarding Emefiele's charges.
They emphasized that the DSS's failure to specify the charges against Emefiele is unacceptable, as it deprives the people of their right to know the accusations being made. IPC Justice firmly believes that the public deserves to be well-informed about the case.
Moreover, IPC Justice voiced their concerns regarding the delay in bringing charges against Emefiele and questioned the motives behind this suspicious timing. They urged the DSS to provide an explanation for the delay, as it raises doubts and further adds to the need for transparency in the proceedings.
