President Tinubu: Nigeria's Future Holds Peace, Stability, and Prosperity

Lagos, June 28, 2023 - President Bola Tinubu delivered an inspiring message of hope today at the Lagos Eid Prayer Ground, expressing his belief that Nigeria will witness a future filled with peace, stability, and prosperity.

Addressing the media after participating in the Eid-el-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks prayer ground, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation, urging Nigerians to set aside ethnic and religious differences.

While acknowledging that Allah does not burden a nation beyond its capacity, the President stated, "I express my gratitude to Almighty Allah for preserving our well-being until this day, and I pray for continued good health and prosperity. May our sacrifices translate into prosperity. We are obligated to make sacrifices, and that is clear, but Allah will not impose a burden that we cannot bear. He is with us. We must maintain faith in our country, have faith in ourselves, and believe that as citizens, we must join hands to build our nation. Let us live in harmony and joy, transcending religious and tribal divisions. Nigeria will experience peace and stability, and God will bestow peace upon those of us on the front lines."

The President took the opportunity to offer prayers for the Nigerian troops engaged in the fight against insurgency, expressing his earnest desire and that of the nation for their victorious triumph.
