SUBSIDY REMOVAL: STOP FUEL HOARDING — SANWO-OLU URGES MARKETERS (VIDEO)

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has expressed concern over certain petroleum marketers who are exploiting President Bola Tinubu's decision to remove oil subsidies by hoarding fuel and causing hardship for the citizens.

The governor made these remarks in a video posted by his media aide, Jubril Aremu Gawat, on Twitter on Tuesday.

He stated, "I believe it is premature for people to speculate about our new president. This announcement does not warrant the actions of some major marketers who are trying to take advantage of the situation.

"There have been no significant changes in the pronouncement that could have led to the fuel queues. However, I trust that our federal government is capable of addressing this issue effectively.

"I urge everyone to abide by the law and continue with their regular activities."
