ONDO HOLDS A BURIAL FOR VICTIMS OF OWO MASSACRE



Ondo hold a burial for victims of Owo massacre incident today, and there is a heavy security presence. 




The funeral service for forty attendees killed at the St. Francis Catholic Church guesthouse in Owo, Ondo State, has been scheduled. Gunmen killed the worshippers on June 5, and numerous more were injured. 




Security personnel, including military soldiers, men of the Nigerian police force, operators of the Nigerian and civil defense corps, and men of the Amotekun corps, are stationed at the Midas Hotel Owo, where the religious service will take place. 




Those who attended the service were subjected to a thorough search before being admitted to the location. 




Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and other top government officials are expected to attend the service.
