Peter Obi has celebrated children today, during the celebration he advised the Nigerians to elect a leader who has people's interest at heart.
"The society we abuse today will take its revenge on our children tomorrow. No country survives by recklessness and extravagance. Unless the present dangerous trend of governmental failure is reversed, the Nigerian child remains disadvantaged, he said.
"I urge Nigerians to leverage the coming elections and elect a leader who has the people's interest at heart. At the same time, avoid the seduction of transactional politics and ensure that only credible persons with track records of success are elected into power.
"As we celebrate our children today, I also urge that they remain on good behaviour, take their education more seriously and remain law-abiding and valuable to the society."
Happy Children’s Day.
