In his ruling on Nnamdi Kanu's bail plea, the Honourable Justice Nyako refused to grant immediate bail but did not rule out the possibility.
The Court, on the other hand, instructed them to file a new bail application after hearing an application detailing the circumstances behind his departure from the nation in 2017.
Before considering a new bail application, the court wishes to investigate such circumstances. As a result, the way is open for his bail.
The hearing began with the Federal Government removing one additional charge, bringing the total number of charges to six. In addition, several accusations have been revised to include the lawyers as co-conspirators.
The court also dismissed the six amended charges filed against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The application was taken and adjourned to the 26th Day of May 2022.
