Reacting on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie said, "Hunger and poverty make people do crime. No be Nollywood cause am. Nollywood is only showing what happens in society... Fix the country and crime will go away. Don't blame Nollywood"
He made it clear that Nollywood reflects what is happening in the society and does not promote ritual killing in the country
