Daivido a popular Nigerian artist and singer has donated the sum of ₦250 million to orphanages across the nation to mark his birthday.
Out of this amount, his friends and well wishers donated the sum of ₦200 million and he added ₦50 million from his pocket which rounded it up to ₦250m. In other words, Divido donated the ₦200m his friends contributed to orphanage.
Divido while donating the money said, a five man Committee has been set up to monitor the distribution of the funds.
