Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) explained why late Odimegwu Ikemba Ojukwu put rising sun in the black line of Biafra flag.

He said it is because Biafra is the only light in the dark continent of Africa.
