NIGERIAN POLICE ATTACK IPOB MEMBERS IN ENUGU

 

There was violent clash between the Nigerian police and Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) members today being Sunday at Emene Enugu State


The violent started at 7.00 am when some police officers invaded the community secondary School Emene  where IPOB members were having meeting and arrested some of them.


An attempt was resisted turning the encounter bloody with IPOB members reportedly overpowering the security operatives.


In reaction, a dozen of petrol vans loaded with armed security agents was reinforced. The sounds of gunfire and teargas fumes filled the area.


Three were confirmed dead, many sustained injuries while others were arrested.
