"NO MATTER HOW TALL AN OKRO TREE IS, THE OWNER WILL BEND IT DOWN" — NWODO TELLS NNAMDI KANU

The President general of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo social cultural group, Mr Nnia Nwodo has accused the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for deciding to destabilize the efforts of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo by creating new character to bring confusion among them.

He said that Nnamdi Kanu's effort will not succeed because they are his fathers and no matter how tall and okro tree is, the owner will always bend it down.

This accusation was as a result of new group that emerged claiming to be the new Ohanaeze ndi Igbo social cultural group. They were of the opinion that Ohanaeze ndi Igbo led by Mr Nnia Nwodo does not care for their well-being.

"It's quite laughable that some group of people will just wake up in the morning and declared that they are now the new leaders of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo while we are still in charge.

"It's obvious to me that the only person championing this division among the Igbo Elders is Nnamdi Kanu who wants power by all means and has decided to destabilize the efforts of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo by bringing new characters to bring confusion among us and i tell you, he will not succeed.

"Nobody knows what this boy Nnamdi Kanu wants in Igbo land. Is there any prominent Igbo man that has not received insult from Kanu on daily basis. He sent and authorized his followers to beat up Igbo elites in Germany and Austria last year, now he has instructed them to beat me up anywhere they see me, but I tell you, it's high time we tell him that we are his fathers and no matter how tall an Okro tree is, the owner will always bend it down.

"Championing new group of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo to bring confusion is not the problem, but when the problem starts, will he be around to solve it, because this time around we don't mind bringing him down from wherever he is to come and solve the problem he's busy creating everywhere."
