DICK CHENEY MOVIE, 'VICE,' GETS CHRISTMAS DAY RELEASE

Adam McKay's latest film, to star Amy Adams and Christian Bale, will see a trailer released Oct. 3.
The Christian Bale-starring Dick Cheney biopic, Vice, is getting a Christmas Day 2018 release.

The Annapurna Pictures and Paramount release, which also stars Steve Carell and Amy Adams, has been moved from an earlier Dec. 21 nationwide release.

The Dick Cheney biopic is director Adam McKay's follow-up to The Big Short, his Oscar-nominated movie about the economic and housing market collapse in the mid-2000s, and tackles the controversial figure who acted as vice president under President George W. Bush.

The film's ensemble cast also includes Sam Rockwell, Jesse Plemons, Alison Pill, Lily Rabe, Tyler Perry, Justin Kirk, LisaGay Hamilton, Shea Whigham and Eddie Marsan.

An official first trailer for the film will be released Oct. 3, before Vice opens nationwide on Christmas Day.

The film is produced by Annapurna Pictures, Gary Sanchez and Plan B Entertainment.
